Insurance - Basic concept
Insurance security
The press release:
Press Release:
Missing work during and after pregnancy has become a common occurrence. According to a 2002 study, 29% of short term disabilities (180 days or less) and 12% of long-term disabilities are due to pregnancy. Maternity disability can turn what is otherwise a happy occasion into a financially harrowing experience when the mother is left unable to work for months before and/or after delivery. Disability Income insurance can be the answer to the unknown risk to a household’s cash flow due to pregnancy.
Many larger companies offer paid maternity leave to employees whereby the employee is granted full pay for a period of time (generally 3 months) while out of work with the newborn. Any complications that cause the employee to miss work before delivery or beyond the maternity leave period after delivery result in a loss of income for days or even months.
Individual short term disability insurance can provide up to 70% of regular income when you’re not able to work due to illness or injury for 3-6 months. Long-term disability insurance takes over after the short-term benefits period has passed and can provide income protection for up to five years or longer.
Mothers-to-be often rely on the group disability insurance offered by their employer. Group disability usually covers up to 60% of regular income. However, all benefits received from such a policy are taxed as regular income, lowering take home dollars to roughly 42% of regular income. Group policies are also commonly riddled with exceptions and limitations that further reduce or eliminate benefits altogether.
Mothers-to-be with group disability insurance can very affordably plug the holes in their policy with a supplemental disability insurance policy. Supplemental coverage can extend income protection to 100% of pre-disability cash flow and benefits paid from the supplemental policy are not taxed as income.
The key to protecting a future mother’s income during pregnancy is to get disability insurance, be it individual or supplemental, before becoming pregnant. Once pregnant, the eligibility for additional disability insurance evaporates.
Future moms have several options to protect their income from a long-term or short-term pregnancy disability. Without this coverage, families take the risk of losing a good portion of their income for months, if not longer. Whether you participate in a group plan at work or not, maternity disability can be planned for in an affordable manner to help ensure a truly safe pregnancy where your family’s quality of life remains unaffected.

Accept the moment
Happiness is a state of mind. Then we have to condition the mind to be happy always. I would like to share some of my views to condition the mind.
Accept the moment as it is. Whatever is happening around you, you can't change it and whatever has happened, has already happened, again, you can't change it. Then why to break our head about what has already happened? Look at the issue, not the persons. For any issue, there will be a solution. When the mind is calm, we can think. When the mind is disturbed, we lose the sense of balance and of course, decisions taken at that time, may not be the right one.
I will give an example. When the mother is lighting the "sacred lamp", the child unknowing switched on the fan. The light went off. What the mother has to understand is that the light has already gone off and the fan is "on". She can put off the fan and light the lamp again. She cannot undo of what had already happened. What normally happens is, the mother will shout at the child, sometimes beat also, and then carry on the act with tension in her mind. By this act, what is achieved is "tension" only. By a conscious approach, this can be avoided and the child also will not be upset.

How to be happy (7,8,9 &10)
- Is he sure?
- Is it useful to me?
If all the above are in the affirmative, then it is worth retaining such a message.
9.Stop Complaining: When we are not able to accept what is happening around, we start complaining. We have two options. Either we should be in a position to change it or accept the fact that it cannot be changed. By just complaining, nothing is achieved.

Advertisements
The life of a daily newspaper is very short, just a day only. The advertisers should give ads in such a way; it catches the immediate attention of the readers. This provides lot of job opportunities for the designers. The advertisement rate depends on the number of copies sold.

A powerful media
Newspaper is one of the most powerful media. The Government rules and regulations concerning road traffic, conducting processions, meetings, and demonstrations are all published in this powerful media.
The misdeeds of the politicians are well brought out by the investigating agencies and are published in newspapers. This acts as a checkpoint for the ruling party leaders. Any wrong or controversial decision taken by the ruling party is brought to the knowledge of the public, which makes them to decide whether to elect the party to power, or not. Similarly, the names of the culprits who indulge in various malpractices are brought to limelight.

How to be happy (2)
A King went for hunting with his Minister and soldiers. The King got his finger hurt. Immediately the minister said, “All for the good”. The King got annoyed and put the minister in Jail. The King continued hunting. Suddenly, a tribal group appeared before the King and took him to their Priest. The King was about to be offered to the God. The Priest started examining the body before offering. He noticed that the finger of the King is “Injured”. He doesn’t want to offer defective Feast to the God. The priest ordered release of the King. The King escaped from death. He then recollected what the Minister told when he got his finger injured. He came back and released the Minister and apologized for his mistake. The Minister said, it is also “for the good”, since if he had continued with the King, he might have been offered as “Feast” to the God since he has no defects in the body.

How to be happy (1)
How to be happy always:
- Do your duties without any expectations: Everyone is bound by their own duties. As parent to our children, as children to our parents, as employee to employer, as husband/wife to our spouse, we have different roles to play.
In playing our roles, we should perform with interest and of course without any expectation. It is our duty to educate the children. We should not expect them to take care of us. Though it may be difficult to practice, for a happy life, we should know how to lead the life without any expectation.
If we are able to follow this rule, happiness is assured.
