How to be happy (2)

2. Whatever thing happens, it happens for the good. We should have to frame of mind to accept that whatever thing happens, it happens for the good. It does not mean that we should stop taking efforts. Taking efforts is in our hands, but the result is not.

A King went for hunting with his Minister and soldiers. The King got his finger hurt. Immediately the minister said, “All for the good”. The King got annoyed and put the minister in Jail. The King continued hunting. Suddenly, a tribal group appeared before the King and took him to their Priest. The King was about to be offered to the God. The Priest started examining the body before offering. He noticed that the finger of the King is “Injured”. He doesn’t want to offer defective Feast to the God. The priest ordered release of the King. The King escaped from death. He then recollected what the Minister told when he got his finger injured. He came back and released the Minister and apologized for his mistake. The Minister said, it is also “for the good”, since if he had continued with the King, he might have been offered as “Feast” to the God since he has no defects in the body.
