Advertisements

The Products and their success mostly depend on advertisements. Though the Television, Radio, Internet and other media plays a predominant role, the usefulness of the newspapers, as one of the medias cannot be undermined. There are various remote villages where the electronic media cannot be reached. Electronic media is quite expensive and meant for global markets.

The life of a daily newspaper is very short, just a day only. The advertisers should give ads in such a way; it catches the immediate attention of the readers. This provides lot of job opportunities for the designers. The advertisement rate depends on the number of copies sold.

How to be happy (3 & 4)

3.Be Selfish: If you want to be happy, be selfish. If happiness is our ultimate goal, we should be selfish. People doing social service are also selfish. You will be wondering, how can it be? They derive more pleasure in doing social service and thereby they are selfish. If they don’t derive happiness, they will not do.

We have a cup of coffee. If by drinking it, you can be happy, drink it. If sharing with others is likely to give more happiness, share it. If giving it to our loved ones gives more happiness, we will give it. Ultimately, you will notice that happiness is the Goal.

4.Accept changes: Changes are inevitable. Nothing is permanent. If we accept changes as part of our life, happiness continues. If we resist to changes, it is bound to cause displeasure. If there is a sudden change in the weather conditions from a sunny day to a rainy day, there is no point in cursing the changes. We have to accept the fact that nothing is in our hands. We have to adapt ourselves to the changing environment. Instead of grumbling, we can take an umbrella or raincoat and continue our work for continued happiness. We have no say on certain things, but we can say, I would like to continue my happiness.

A powerful media

Newspaper is one of the most powerful media. The Government rules and regulations concerning road traffic, conducting processions, meetings, and demonstrations are all published in this powerful media.

The misdeeds of the politicians are well brought out by the investigating agencies and are published in newspapers. This acts as a checkpoint for the ruling party leaders. Any wrong or controversial decision taken by the ruling party is brought to the knowledge of the public, which makes them to decide whether to elect the party to power, or not. Similarly, the names of the culprits who indulge in various malpractices are brought to limelight.

How to be happy (2)

2. Whatever thing happens, it happens for the good. We should have to frame of mind to accept that whatever thing happens, it happens for the good. It does not mean that we should stop taking efforts. Taking efforts is in our hands, but the result is not.

A King went for hunting with his Minister and soldiers. The King got his finger hurt. Immediately the minister said, “All for the good”. The King got annoyed and put the minister in Jail. The King continued hunting. Suddenly, a tribal group appeared before the King and took him to their Priest. The King was about to be offered to the God. The Priest started examining the body before offering. He noticed that the finger of the King is “Injured”. He doesn’t want to offer defective Feast to the God. The priest ordered release of the King. The King escaped from death. He then recollected what the Minister told when he got his finger injured. He came back and released the Minister and apologized for his mistake. The Minister said, it is also “for the good”, since if he had continued with the King, he might have been offered as “Feast” to the God since he has no defects in the body.

How to be happy (1)

How to be happy always:

  1. Do your duties without any expectations: Everyone is bound by their own duties. As parent to our children, as children to our parents, as employee to employer, as husband/wife to our spouse, we have different roles to play.

In playing our roles, we should perform with interest and of course without any expectation. It is our duty to educate the children. We should not expect them to take care of us. Though it may be difficult to practice, for a happy life, we should know how to lead the life without any expectation.

If we are able to follow this rule, happiness is assured.
