The major portfolio of the non-life insurers is motor insurance and hence the number of claims also will be high. The quick settlement gives an edge to the insurers to retain the existing customers and to attract new customers. Online processing of claims in a paperless environment through imaging ensures quick settlement of claims.
It is an end to end solution, starting from notification of a claim till settlement and issue of cheque to the customers in addtion to recovery from reinsurers and under subrogation rights.
